Hi, I’m Savannah.
I’m an over-educated, under-loved millennial, aging and alone with two dogs — but instead of a lonely microwave dinner on a Friday night, I have DoorDash and a hot glue gun.
Crafting helps me cope with the insanity of, well, everything (hence Crafts Against Insanity).
This isn’t Martha Stewart-style crafting. The projects here aren’t Pinterest-perfect. They’re anti-perfection, anti-productivity, anti-grind—quick, imprecise, non-technical, yet oddly satisfying. Things to make when you feel like your dreams are as shattered as your attention span.
If your overachiever brain is screaming, “I have no time for pointless projects!”, think of it as art therapy for your sad millennial girl soul. A little DIY for when you feel dead inside. Because there’s something kind of radical and freeing about making something for absolutely no reason.
Of course, if you’re like me, you won’t craft your way out of an existential crisis. But you might get enough pink glitter and Modge Podge on your fingers to stop yourself from doomscrolling for 15 minutes.
Show me what you make!
